The CNY u19 field hockey team won the Silver medal at the Diamond State Games held in New Castle, Delaware this past weekend. The 28 team field had State Champions from Maine, New Hampshire and Delaware as well as premier teams from the East Coast.
Area players were:
Lauren Di Russo, Emily Cummings and Sara & Steph Sanders ( ME), Brit Hulbert
and Chelsea Beames ( Afton), Amy Dalpiaz, Kritin Gilkeson and Kaitlyn Hamilton
(Harpursville), Chris McCabe and Holly Davis (Greene).
The final game was determined by a stroke off with Lanco Premier of Lancaster, Pa winning 2-1.

CNY Under 14 take Gold
The CNY 14 field hockey team won the GOLD medal
at the Diamond State Games held in New Castle, Delaware this past weekend.
